LIDS Aircrew Decontamination Training.

Wel-Fab Inc. Lightweight Inflatable Decontamination System (LIDS) Aircrew Decontamination System was used by the Air National Guard (ANG) USAF, Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) Technicians from the 139TH Operations Group (OG) as they participated in an aircrew decontamination qualification training exercise located at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, in St. Joseph, Missouri.  The decontamination exercise is designed to re-locate aircrew from a contaminated aircraft to an Aircrew Decontamination Control Area (ACCA) in order to decontaminate the aircrew member and their aircrew flight equipment.

Our LIDS Aircrew decontamination system is specifically designed for used during any real-world decon events or during training exercises just like this one.  The LIDS Aircrew system is designed for use in decontaminating personnel exposed to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) particulate matter.  Wel-Fab LIDS systems is currently the only decontamination systems on the market that was officially tested by the USAF 28TH Test Squadron.
