17 Wings team up for AFE chemical response training
Our LIDS Aircrew System was recently used during a five-day exercise testing Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear capabilities in an attempt to validate AFE response teams. The AFE teams consist of 18 AFE Airmen from 17 U.S. Air Force wings representing four major commands. The training was also used to standardize procedures across all AFE units Air Force wide. Additionally by standardizing these procedures they will save ACC around $250 million worth of equipment.
