Wel-Fab Inc. provides LIDS Aircrew Decontamination Training to the 126th ARW AFE Personnel at Scott AFB, IL.
Wel-Fab Inc. LIDS Aircrew Training Team recently provided Initial LIDS Aircrew Training to the 126th ARW Aircrew Flight Equipment personnel during the first week of June 2019.
We provided training on the Set-Up, Strike, Packing and Proper Use of all LIDS system components.
Training was completed using the new Next Generation Detailed Expedient WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC system. This new system is an ultra-lightweight decontamination system packed into a single container making it the lightest and most cost-effective system on the market.
Our WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC decontamination system shortens technician-training time and reduces set-up and break-down times. Additionally, our LIDS NGDE system is designed to meet all current aircrew decontamination procedures and it was independently tested and validated by the USAF Air Warfare Center and approved for use by the Department of Defense, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, and Biological Defense. Furthermore, the ergonomic design of our LIDS system has proven to significantly reduce technician thermal burden associated with the set-up and operation of decontamination systems resulting in efficiency and comfort in the ACCA working environment.
When you purchase the WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC it includes an initial one-day CONUS training course consisting of Set-up, Strike, and Packing of the LIDS® System.
Our LIDS Training Course is taught at the base/unit facility that purchased the WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC. LIDS Training can be performed within an enclosed facility or on an exposed training area with unimproved surface with at least 100’x 20’ of flat open space with no overhead encumbrances.
Training date timelines are coordinated directly with the unit/base POC’s once the unit has received the WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC. The initial one-day training course is for conus locations only. The one-day training course is not included for units that purchase the WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC at OCONUS locations. The maximum class size for this training course is 15 students.
Our WFI-LIDS-NGDE-AC decontamination system can be purchased through General Service Administration (GSA) or the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) stock number (8145-01-522-2512).
